Cricket an Olympic sport?????

Although it could be a well supported sport with big crowds almost guaranteed if matches were to feature England, Australia, India or Pakistan, the fact that the IOC doesn't recognise the West Indies as a nation means that they will have to be split up into their individual nations, just as what happened at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. This would dilute the competition from these teams, affecting the quality of the games. Another factor against cricket's inclusion in the olympics is that the countries where cricket is a national sport don't have much political power as a group to be able to receive enough votes for the inclusion of cricket in the olympics.
