LPN vs RN schooling/work.?

I would recommend going for the RN. I know in my area they are trying to phase them out and they are limited to where they can work. Where I work they will make them work as a tech if needed. Most LPN positions are in nursing homes. Also a hospital in my area just recently fired some LPN's due to the recession. You're better off getting your cna, and working as a tech while going through nursing school. If you want less schooling try an ociate degree RN program.
