How ineffective do antibotics make the contraceptive pill? help?

ive got a weeks course of antibiotics and the doctor warned me to use extra contraception while using im, im just wondering if the antibiotics stop the pill working totally or it just makes it less effective. i am on my second day of taking them and went with my partner today. what are my chances of pregnancy, do you think ill be ok? :-/ xx
