What can i do with an empty wall on my kitchen?

I have a blank wall in my kitchen. It's connected to our cabinets and to the pantry. I want to do something with it but i don't know what. Should I paint it? Hang up a picture? artwork? I don't have a theme for my kitchen but the walls are a "creme" color and the cabinets are slightly darker. What can I do?
