Do you think a tarantula makes a good pet?

No, for these reasons. A tarantula needs to roam a little, and cannot do so in a small box or tank. If you could supply it with a large area to live than I would say go for it. The other reason is that I don't think there could be much interaction between pet owner and pet tarantula, but I could be wrong.
